Report on the Visit to "The Light of the World" Institute On February 18, 2026, the CFAM team visited "The Light of the World" Institute for Visually Impaired Children. Our mission was simple yet profound: to build a bridge of fellowship and provide the Word of God in a format that transcends physical sight.
Upon our arrival, we were warmly received by the institute's Founder and Director, Mr. Ashraf Zahid. During our opening session, Mr. Zahid introduced the vital work being done at the institute. He spoke with deep sincerity, expressing his appreciation for CFAM's efforts and his humble gratitude for the opportunity to share the "Word of God in audio" with his students. He noted that such resources are not just tools, but lifelines for spiritual growth.
Our Chairman Mr. Zafar Iqbal responded by sharing the broader vision and mission of Christ For All Ministry (CFAM). As he introduced our team members, he reaffirmed our commitment to serving those often overlooked by society, ensuring that the light of the Gospel reaches every corner.
The atmosphere shifted into one of vibrant worship as the program progressed. Mr. Samson Saleem shared an inspiring message from the Word of God, offering comfort and spiritual nourishment to the children and staff alike.
What followed was a truly moving experience. The children led the congregation in worship, demonstrating incredible talent using traditional eastern instruments, the Tabla and Harmonium. Their enthusiasm was infectious; though they could not see us, their voices and music filled the room with a devotion that touched every member of the CFAM team.
The highlight of the day was the distribution of 15 Audio Bibles to the young residents. The excitement in the room was palpable as the children held the devices for the first time.
Our team sat with the students, teaching them how to operate the players. It was a joy to witness how quickly they learned to navigate the scriptures. These Bibles represent more than a gift; they represent independence and a direct connection to God's promises. The children were visibly thrilled and expressed their heartfelt thanks to the entire CFAM team for this life-changing resource.
The visit concluded with final remarks from Mr. Ashraf Zahid, who spoke highly of the company and spirit of the CFAM team. He encouraged us to remain steadfast in our support for the needy, highlighting the deep impact our presence made on the institute.
The day was a powerful success, fulfilling our mandate to bring spiritual light to those in physical darkness. Based on the enthusiasm of the children and the clear need for ongoing support, I recommend that the Board explore a permanent partnership with this institute to ensure these young believers continue to grow in their faith.
